This position is responsible for providing best-in-class customer service to an assigned group of Standard Innovation Corporation (SIC) customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Providing best-in-class customer service through the Standard Innovation order desk for business customers and consumers
  • Directly responding to and providing support to end user/consumer requests and questions on products
  • Acting as first point of contact for customer issues, tracking problems
  • Committing and processing product orders through warehouses
  • Processing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA’s)
  • Facilitating merchandising materials programs as directed by Business Development Directors
  • Managing customer accounts, payments, exposure
  • Participating in the development of sales forecasts with business customers
  • As directed by Business Development Directors, communicating account sales offers and promotions
  • Communicating with Distributors and Retailers with research requests on product sales
  • Some participation in trade and consumer shows including retailer training events

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Secondary school diploma is required along with at least 3-5 years customer service experience preferably in a consumer response role and an order management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle all incoming requests for information, advice, and returns from consumers
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong problem solving and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

ASSETS

  • Ability to speak French is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and EDI systems are definite assets
  • Experience working in a Mac environment an asset
  • Finance experience an asset (AP, AR/Collections)
